start it off right.

if there is one thing i will do for the rest of my life, it is.....
to eat breakfast.
and enjoy every morsel of yumminess over the course of the entire morning until lunch time.
it begins usually in the darkness of my kitchen....
then in my hand running to my car....then in the car
in between sips of steaming coffee....then i continue my second breakfast right after i get to work and continue to munch....it really is the best.

CAKE POPS! CAKE POPS! CAKE POPS!

my roomies and i had a ball making these cake pops....and then indulging in them at our holiday bash for our sweet friends. We have been talking and gushing over Bakerella for a while and to my surprise one day, a package showed up on my doorstep with her cookbook in it! Sarah Turnipseede- you are one amazing friend. Thank you for my book- it makes me smile.

our pops are pictured first, bakerella's confection's are following.

chocolate diet.

it is not a secret that i could live on chocolate for the rest of my life. and it won't stop.
it's never enough.

breakfast revamped.

Welsh artist, Nathan Wyburn, uses jam and marmite with toast as his medium of choice.
His subject matter consists of celebrities he would most like to have breakfast with.

and yes, those photos above are pancakes.

today i made...

this morning was glorious....i made scrumptious muffins, per my mother's expertise, read a little bit, washed it down with some cold milk and coffee and was in heaven. Not to mention i caught a little chill in the fall air. yes.

nice to meet you, new obsession.

Im OBSESSED. there, i said it.
My dear friend Nic introduced me to this incredible blog- it is a foodie blog and she's a genius!
every photo just absolutely makes me flutter....the composition, the lighting, styling, etc....
Katie Quinn Davies is top notch in my book. She was originally trained as a graphic designer and then repurposed her passions into food photography. What an eye! Check out her blog, What Katie Ate. Thank you for inspiring me.
mom- i promise ill be as good a cook as you. maybe.

the pie hole.

this is for Roberta Fergal. i am still in shock that Pushing Daisies was cancelled. STILL!
on our lunch breaks, we've been watching the episodes over and over, still wondering what is going to happen next. and we may even start our own pie hole. with some funnel cake. funnel your face.
