knot tied: canter's sneak peek.

this passed weekend, i made my way up north with my girls to be a part of my roomie's wedding in flagstaff......a stunning setting is an understatement.
complete with more mason jars than ive ever seen and chandeliers to brighten our evening of dancing in the open tent, it was some good times.
and i even snuck some of the groom's favorite cookies (his dessert choice for guests) in my clutch for a late night snack.

speaking nature.

my nature is to communicate.
though not always in words.
i fling glorious sunsets across the sky,
day after day after day.
I speak in the faces and voices of loved ones.
I delight you with a gentle breeze that refreshes.

time for lasts.

here's to beginning this journey at the table with three glasses.
here's to counting down to every tuesday and every sunday and every day.
here's to you roomies, our last night together before one ties the knot up north.
here's to more blah days to come.

i love when your eyes see one thing yet your brain communicates something completely obscure.

where the green things are.

A single gentle rain makes the grass many shades greener. So our prospects brighten on the influx of better thoughts. We should be blessed if we lived in the present always, and took advantage of every accident that befell us, like the grass which confesses the influence of the slightest dew that falls on it; and did not spend our time in atoning for the neglect of past opportunities, which we call doing our duty. We loiter in winter while it is already spring...
