paint by number-ish.

this used to be my favorite aisle at michael's- but the one's with black velvet outlines. oh the possibilities. 

but it started with the really teeny ones i would take out to the playhouse papaw built in the backyard in chicago where i would spend hours alone making sure every color and stroke was perfectly in line. 

paint by number- let's bring it back.

bridge loft.

Located in Dumbo, Brooklyn, Bridge Loft is a treasure of a combination studio and location space. It is situated of top floor of Henry Jallade's 1904 masterpiece of industrial architecture, and i find it truly a gem in the city.  

respite.

rest....what does that really mean......

it is like an unspoken treasure we can crave and crave until it is upon us and our expectation of resting produces no rest at all. 

but i decided to stop expecting and start being
